Ocean Township: The auditorium at Ocean High on Saturday was a full crowd, regulars and many new-comers alerted by past year attendees. That is the way the Chorus of the Atlantic songsters have succeeded all the years.
The program adds and alters songs each year, and music as well as singers. They once again added the popular, talented Ocean High Chamber Choir to the 2 hour musical treat. Ocean's Craig Spencer directed the Chorus of the Atlantic. with "Carol of the Bells" setting the tone and timbre for the show.
The Matinee Idles delivered a lively seasonal selection for director Will Mc Cain. Then the 13 minute intermission. Exactly. Precisely.
The Ocean Choir delivered a much appreciated series of familiar songs for Director Teddy Kernizan, applause following each melody.
Tom Cameron with baton led the favorites of "Lo, How A Rose E'er Blooming", then "Oh Holy Night "with the deep sentiments of the season and the holiday.
The afternoon closed with "We wish you a Merry Christmas', the proverb of the stage filled groups, the fanfare to go home with.
