Coats and Cookies To Help Long Branch Community

LONG BRANCH: The Greater Long Branch NAACP will be giving away free coats for adults and kids at the Anastasia School, 92 Seventh Avenue, on Thursday evening from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M.

NAACP President Bill Dangler said that an added treat will be cookies.

There are 350 coats available for the giving thanks to help from the Charity Kings, a non-profit group from Asbury Park. The Kings reached out to Bill with a supply of coats they have to be added to the event as the group's community services they perform for helping those less fortunate.

Mr. Dangler added "Thanks to the Long Branch School District for the support and cooperation provided in making Anastasia open for the event."
