OCEAN: The Easter Bunny visited the Oakhurst Fire Station on Larkin Place on Sunday to meet the children and parents who have waited for him all year. It was a nice surprise for the 200 guests, the children and their parents.
The big fun at the event was the chance to sit on the bunny's lap and maybe get a photo taken for the family album. He had a whole Easter Basket filled with lollipops to treat each youngster after they had their breakfast of pancakes and sausage plus milk or other drinks.
For the firefighters at the building the day was exciting and several children enjoyed a visit to the fire engine room where the first aid squad keeps its ambulance.
Three-year-old Victoria Walton and her 3-month-old sister Alexi had a fun talk with Easter Bunny as other children waited patiently.
