Community Day will be held at Wolcott Park, located on Willow Drive off of South Street, from 2 p.m.-dusk and will feature vendors, rides, food and musical entertainment. The rain date for the event is the following Saturday, Oct. 17.
To get children into the Autumnal spirit, there will be hay rides and a pumpkin-decorating contest as well as more traditional festival events such as fire truck rides, a ballon artist, face painting and inflatable rides.
The borough's fire trucks and ambulances will be on display and the Monmouth County Sheriff's Office will hold a K9 demo. The police and fire department will also face off in a softball game at 4 p.m.
Eatontown civic organizations and businesses will set up shop at the festival as will food vendors.
Community Day will feature an afternoon and evening full of musical performances by The Toasters, Reese and Alyssa, Chris Morrisy, Joe Petillo and Taylor Tote.
