EATONTOWN: Children in the borough can get an early dose of Easter at Eatontown's Annual Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 5.
The free event will be held at Wolcott Park in the field next to the pavilion, rain or shine. It is open to Eatontown residents ages three through 6th grade.
Three and four year olds will begin their egg hunt at noon, K-1st graders will begin at 12:10 p.m., 2nd and 3rd graders will begin at 12:20 p.m. and the final group, the 4th-6th graders, will begin at 12:30 p.m.
Plastic eggs will be placed in marked areas in the field for children to find. Any eggs collected can be redeemed for goody bags filled with toys and candy. There will be special marked eggs that can be redeemed for larger prizes.
All participants are asked to bring a basket to hold their eggs and a camera for pictures with the Easter Bunny. Children and their parents should arrives 15 to 20 minutes prior to the start of their age group.
