EATONTOWN: The state will be performing roadwork on Route 36 beginning Monday, July 21.
One and a half miles of northbound lanes and 2 miles of southbound lanes will be paved between Eatontown and West Long Branch. The roads will be paved one at a time.
The work will be performed on Monday-Thursday nights only.
New Jersey Department of Transportation Spokesman Stephen Schapiro said the paving could be completed in one week or an extra day or two could be needed, depending on weather.
