West Long Branch: The WLB Fire Company is sponsoring a fundraiser to help First Responders –Fire Police, and EMS personnel affected by Hurricane Sandy. The "Sandy Relief Benefit" will be on Saturday, January 19 from 2 to 6 P.M., at the Celtic Cottage Pub in Long Branch.
The event is a matter of “Brothers Helping Brothers” and all proceeds will be given to brothers and sisters in uniform that are now in need. Borough Chemical & Truck Company No. 1 Vice President Rich Cooper said the fundraiser will benefit "fire, police and EMS personnel that have had personal loss from Sandy while protecting our communities."

The address is the Celtic Cottage Pub, 608 Second Avenue in Long Branch at the corner of West End Avenue, one block north of Brighton, and one block west of Ocean Avenue.
There will be food and drink specials, live music and a 50/50 raffle. A $25 donation is required for entry, and all proceeds will be given to first responders who are in need after Hurricane Sandy.
It is a way for all of us to help those who have already helped the most. They were there when we needed them.
