Former Sea Bright Service Center Will Have New Tenant

SEA BRIGHT: It may have taken longer than expected, but the former Sea Bright Service Center will have a new business operating out of it in the near future.

OAR Fitness and Endurance, a cross fitness gym, will open in the next few months.

Owner Ilene Winters was given approval by the Sea Bright Planning Board to operate her gym at the property located at 1006 Ocean Avenue. The space is attached to the Dunkin Donuts at foot of the Rumson-Sea Bright bridge.

Winters told Word On The Shore that she hopes to move in to her new business some time in March and that she will offer cross fitness classes, personal training and rowing machines.

The planning board originally gave approval to Boondocks Fishery to set up shop at 1006 Ocean Avenue, but the owner decided not to move forward with the plan. The space would have acted as a seasonal second location for the Red Bank-based seafood restaurant.
