Historic Long Branch Structure To Open To Public This Weekend

LONG BRANCH: The historic Church of the Seven Presidents will open to the public this weekend.

The church, which is being restored to be preserved as a museum, will be open for a tour on Saturday, Feb. 18 from 3-5 p.m.

The Church of the Seven Presidents, located at 1260 Ocean Ave., gets its name from those who once worshipped there, including presidents Chester A. Arthur, James Garfield, Ulysses S. Grant, Benjamin Harrison, Rutherford Hayes, William McKinley and Woodrow Wilson.

The afternoon will give those in attendance to ring the church's bell, share in some patriotic music, watch the Long Branch High School ROTC present the colors and enjoy free cider and cookies
