TINTON FALLS: More than 100 Holiday Express volunteers sipped wine, sampled cheese and socialized at the non-profit groups annual Volunteer Appreciation Night, held at the Holiday Express warehouse on Wednesday, April 15.

In honor of National Volunteer Week, the event is a small thank you to the legion of volunteers who donate their time and talents to Holiday Express each season.

"Holiday Express has 1,600 volunteers who donated more than 10,000 hours of their time last year to make the season happen. This organization could not exist with out our volunteers. The selfless giving of all our volunteers year round, embodies the true spirit of the holiday season," said Executive Director, Lorrie Klaric.

Established by Tim McLoone in 1993, Holiday Express is a non-profit organization. Comprised of 1,600 volunteers, including 150 professional rock, jazz, folk, gospel and pop musicians. Holiday Express delivers music, food, gifts, financial support and friendship to those with the greatest need for the gift of human kindness during the holiday season and throughout the year.
