For those who don't know, West Long Branch Community Center, Inc. is a non-profit corporation completely dedicated to the development and maintenance of a community center for the people of West Long Branch. It is governed by a Board of Trustees representative of the public at large. The Community Center property is restricted to community center use and if used for any other purpose will revert to the Borough of West Long Branch as public land.
The breakfast helps fund the ongoing maintenance and operations, as do other events at the center. Volunteers provide the work and service.
The Community Center has been maintained over these many years as a charming and comfortable hosting place for meetings, parties, and even weddings. It also serves for social and public service use such as veterans meetings, voting at elections, special occasions, and holiday celebrations
