Little Silver Sidewalk Sales

Friends of the Little SIlver Public Library had brisk sales on used hard cover books

Little SilverThe Little Silver Business & Professional Association moved the date for Annual Sidewalk Sales from July to May this year.  Most everyone agreed it was a smart decision.  Under beautiful bright blue skies, happy shoppers picked up bargains on lots of merchandise.   The blue and white balloons floated about town indicating where LSBPA members are participating in the sales.

Pre season summer bargains were found at The Little Silver Family Pharmacy, where flip flops and inflatables for the pool were on sale.  The Woman’s Exchange had holiday items marked down 75% and Byford & Mills was holding a Spring Clearance Event.

Friends of the Little Silver Public Library had a tent set up in front of Boro Hall where hard cover books were on sale for $2.00 each.  It was easy enough to pick up a beach chair and summer reading after lunching at Felicia’s Kitchen.  For businesses off of the beaten track, tables were set up in front of other merchants places of business.  Alicia Murray and Susan Holder from Two River Realty were set up in front of Wells Fargo Bank on Prospect Ave, where you could stop and talk to Paul Giordano about a mortgage.
