Long Branch Oceanfest 2018

Long Branch: A beautiful Atlantic Ocean, and a hot weather day got help from a soft breeze that helped a bit at the Long Branch Annual Oceanfest celebration on Wednesday, July Fourth.

The beaches were very busy and life guards at full alert. Security was tight and hardworking city forces kept the crowds busy but safe and trouble free.

What a day! Independence Day 2018, the nation's birthday.

Food galore, lots of craft sellers and souvenir vendors, marching music groups, veterans clubs, sand castle artists, Little League pitching games, inflatables on the Great Lawn and air planes towing advertisements across the clear blue sky.

The stage and music in every form gave entertainment to visitors in a friendly spot to listen while one enjoyed an ice cream cone.

The afternoon excitement was followed by the dusk timed fireworks display, with hundreds of missiles lighting the beachfront with luster and sound.
