LONG BRANCH: Ronnie Lubischer and his staff have been focusing on the health and fitness of their clients since opening Lubischer’s Burn and Blast Training at 45 Atlantic Ave. Suite 3 on Oct. 31, 2012.
“The biggest thing is how much we care about our clients and getting them results, because I really don’t think anyone else does it the way we do it," Lubischer said. "We also know how important knowing the science of the body is. We get tremendous results and other places just get good results.”
Lubischer used his physiology degree from The College of New Jersey to hold several jobs in the training field before opening his own personal training studio three years prior to opening Burn and Blast.
He said he wanted to do something different at his new location that included merging 1:1 training with classes.
“What I wanted to do was be the first studio that could merge those businesses together without being a big studio,” he said.
That approach has worked so far as he now has over 150 clients participating in personal training, unique small group training, team and individual athlete sport-specific training, training for male and female figure competitions, and nutritional and supplemental programs.
He said he works with all different types of clients ranging from athletes to people just looking to get in shape.
“It’s just about getting people healthy and giving them good information from an exercise scientist not from mass media or a guru or a zealot,” he said.
He said asks people what their goals are and said people can obtain them without having to sacrifice having a good time.
“You can do happy hour on a Friday night and have some snacks and be very healthy and be happy with yourself and have a good body inside and out,” he said. “If you want to just go to the gym, then you go to one of those big membership gyms, if you want to train then you go to a burn and blast and we’ll get you to whatever your goal is,”
He said the type of training his studio offers may not be the “sexiest” but that it is effective and is a “realistic approach to fitness.”
Lubischer’s Burn and Blast is currently offer a 28-day “Memorial Day Meltdown” for $99 that includes unlimited classes for 28 days, two personal training sessions and a complete, customized nutrition and supplemental plan and weekly weigh-ins with inch measurements for circumference of body parts and body fat measurements.
Lubischer said he thinks anybody who works out or trains with him and his staff will get the results they want and that if they do not, he did not do his job the right way.
“I take all results extremely personable,” he said. “If a client fails, I fail. We truly care and that’s what separates us.”
