Man Arrested For Aug. 20 Broadway Shooting in Long Branch

LONG BRANCH: A man has been arrested and charged for his role in the shooting that occurred on Broadway on Wednesday, Aug. 20 and injured a male victim.

Dyrell Stovall has been arrested and charged with attempted murder. Stovall is also facing weapons charges.

Long Branch Police Det. Michael Verdadeiro and Lt. Kevin Condon of the Monmouth County Prosector's Office were given credit for helping track down and arrest Stovall.

The shooting occurred near Broadway Food Market early Wednesday morning and injured one person who was taken to hospital to be treated for gunshot wounds.

Another man was shot within minutes of the Broadway shooting, but police have not yet made any arrests.
