Man Pulled From Water In Long Branch Dies

LONG BRANCH: A man who was pulled from the water off Seven President's Park on Saturday evening, Sept. 23, has died.

Police say that several people were pulled from the water throughout the day and that the man who drowned was swimming with others at the time.

The incident occurred around 5:30 p.m.

Lifeguards are not on duty at Seven Presidents's Park after Sept. 4. There was also a high risk of rip currents this afternoon, according to the National Weather Service.
