No Plan To Bring Gas Station Back To Sea Bright

Sea Bright has been without its own gas station since Hurricane Sandy destroyed the borough's low fueling area.

The Sunoco on Route 36 South/Ocean Avenue, has been closed since it was badly damaged by Sandy and according to borough officials, there have been no plans submitted to rebuild on the lot.

The question was asked at a recent Sea Bright Council Workshop meeting, but officials said they were unaware of any plans for the area.

Mayor Dina Long said she believes the infrastructure for a gas station is still underground in the lot but that no developers have submitted plans to the Sea Bright Planning Board.
