Oakhurst FD Gets Visit From Jolly Old Saint Nick

OCEAN TOWNSHIP: Breakfast with Santa was Dec. 6 in Oakhurst at the firehouse on Larkin Place, as the Jolly Gentleman from the North Pole paid his annual visit to the children and to share a breakfast of pancakes, eggs and chocolate drink.

He also had a candy cane for each that made them smile and say, "Thank you Santa."

This year the firefighters who prepared the breakfast stood next to Santa for a nice pose as each had his photo taken. Some of them were getting ready to go to the Ocean Township Historical Museum later in the day where the town's tree was being lighted.

Rebecca and her little brother Jack sat on Santa's lap. Juliana, 4 and brother Kenneth, 2, waited with their mom for their turn to speak with Santa.

It was a great day for the youngsters and for Santa, too.
