Ocean Township Police Seeking Home Invasion Suspects

OCEAN TOWNSHIP: The following is a press release from the Ocean Township Police Department:

On Dec. 13 at approximately 8:30 p.m., officers responded to a residence on Spruce Avenue in response to a reported armed home invasion. When officers arrived at the residence, the two subjects had already fled the area.

An investigation revealed that two armed men entered a occupied, single family residence and pointed handguns at the residents. The two subjects took personal property from the residents during the robbery. No one was injured.

Suspect #1 was described as a black male in his mid twenties, 5'10" in height wearing a Champion brand hooded sweatshirt.

Suspect #2 was described as a black male, also in his mid twenties,. Approximately 6'03" in height and was wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt, dark pants, dark shoes and a black mask covering his face. Both men were armed with black handguns.
