Ocean Township Police Seize Over 30 Bags Of Heroin During Stop

OCEAN TOWNSHIP: The following is a press release from the Ocean Township Police:

On Sept. 5th, at approximately 10:50 a.m. Officer Ryan Krug was on patrol in the area of State Highway 66. He observed a vehicle that had committed a moving violation and conducted a traffic stop.

During his investigation he learned that the passenger, later identified as the accused Crystal Algor, 35 of Barnegat, provided him with a false name. Once her true identity was confirmed outstanding warrants were located for her arrest.

While in custody it was discovered that Algor did possess heroin which was located in her undergarments. In addition to the heroin hypodermic syringes and additional drug paraphernalia was located.

Algor was charged with possession of heroin, d rug paraphernalia, hypodermic syringes and providing false information to a police officer. She was lodged in the county jail pending a future court appearance.
