Oceanport Council Race Will Feature Three Incumbents

OCEANPORT: Three incumbents will be running for three open spots on the Oceanport Council this November.

The terms of Councilwoman Ellynn Kahle and Councilman Richard Gallo expire on Dec. 31, 2014, but they will be running unopposed for their sits.

Last year, Councilman Christopher Paglia was selected to fill the seat of William Johnson, who had to leave the council because he took a job with the county. Paglia will now run to fill Johnson's unexpired term.

Kahle is the chair of the health and human services department and liaison to the Oceanport Parks and Recreation Committee.

Gallo is the Oceanport Department of Public Works chairman and liaison to the borough's planning and development.

Paglia is the planning and development chairman and liaison to public works and engineering.
