Long Branch: Parking meter pay stations at city beachfront lots are all ready for the anticipated Memorial Day crowds at Long Branch beaches ... $5 bucks Monday-Thursday and $10 bucks Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

...don't forget to put the receipt on the dashboard. Without a receipt displayed, you risk paying A LOT more for that parking space.

As for weekend weather, Friday and Saturday are looking to be the best days of the holiday weekend with highs Saturday in the 80's at the beach and up into the 90's inland. Sunday and Monday aren't looking terribly great for beach weather with clouds and showers predicted to put a damper on the end of the holiday weekend. Monday is looking the worst of the days with steady rain expected.
