Pedestrian Struck And Killed By Train In Long Branch

LONG BRANCH: A pedestrian was struck and killed by a train in Long Branch late Saturday night, June 11.

The incident occurred around the Elberon Train Station when the person, identified as a trespasser by NJ Transit, was hit by a northbound train. The person's identity has not yet been released as the incident is still under investigation.

Services was disrupted for about an hour and no passengers on the train were injured.
