LITTLE SILVER: Borough residents can show off their green thumbs at the newly-created community garden, which was approved by the Little Silver Council in December.
Applications for plots are now being accepted and can be found by clicking here.
The community garden is located behind the barns at Parker Homestead. It will be fenced in to prevent deer and other local wildlife from destroying plants.
The plots, measuring 4-feet-by-30-feet will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, with a limit of one plot per household until April 15.
A waiting list will be kept to notify interested parties as space becomes available.
The cost is $50 for residents, and $75 for nonresidents within nearby towns.
