Portion Of Wall Street To Close For Paving Work This Week

WEST LONG BRANCH: Another major borough road will be milled and paved this week, resulting in closures and detours for motorists in the area.

Locust Avenue between Cedar Avenue and Wall Street, will be closed from Dec. 8-Dec. 9 from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Police are asking drivers to seek alternate routes during the closures. School busses and emergency vehicles will not be impacted by the work.

Last week, a large portion of Wall Street was repaved as the borough and county try to finish as many paving projects before the cold weather will not allow them to do so.
