RBR HS PTO to the Rescue!

Little Silver:  After the annual teacher's luncheon each year, PTO volunteers who were on the clean up committee would lament over the size of the small sink and the overall run down look of the teacher's lounge at Red Bank Regional HS.  In September of last year, the group made it their mission to give the lounge a face lift.

The PTO together with students in the VPA Art Academy gave the space it's much needed makeover.  The volunteers worked very hard over spring break to unveil the space on Tuesday morning to a very appreciative crowd of teachers and staff.

Gone was the little sink that was not big enough to wash trays for the food donated for the annual appreciation luncheon.  In it's place was a new sink and cabinets with a granite counter top.   The new space includes an eating area, several seating areas, and a work station.  Artwork in the space done by the students depicts scenes from the Jersey Shore.

Big thank yous go out to Ilene Reynolds, Debbie Von Schondorf, Dulce Feito-Daly, Ida Keiper, Michele Fogerty, Mary Chamberlain, Cathy Reardon and Jackie Mery to name just a few of the many volunteers who made the new lounge and teacher appreciation luncheon a huge success.
