If you were traveling from Norwood Ave in Long Branch to Monmouth Road in Oakhurst or vice-versa on Wednesday, there were 4 detours and roadblocks for 4 different projects going on.

The intersection of Wall and Norwood had JCP&L working on replacing a utility pole shutting down the northbound lane of Norwood. Wall St is still closed for ongoing gas line work on the section from Oakwood headed west- within a block from the Norwood intersection.

Monmouth Road in Oakhurst was down to one lane about 3 blocks north of West Park Wave for work being done by Kiely Construction and at the corner of Roosevelt Ave. where the northbound lane on Monmouth Road was closed for line painting.

But wait- turn on to Deal Road from Monmouth and there was yet another detour for work being done just west of Whale Pond Road in Oakhurst.

While some of the other detours were gone by Thursday morning, Wall Street was still blocked.
