LONG BRANCH: Santa Claus paid a visit to the Adam "Bucky" James Community Center on Central Avenue on Dec. 21 where almost 200 city children came to see the jolly old elf who will be visiting their homes on Christmas morning.

The occasion was sponsored by the Long Branch Housing Authority and the city's Recreation Commission again this year. Volunteers from those agencies Helped with guiding the youngsters make their wat to Santa's lap for some personal conversation. A special volunteer, Mr. Daryl Brabham assisted in a "special way" to see each child got to speak with Santa.

A smiling Miss Juliana, the Office Manager for the FEM Real Estate developer of "South Beach at Long Branch" made sure gifts were with Santa, along with a variety of books for children on the important "Table of Books", along with an extra table of bags of cookies for each child.

The event was a fun for all, and was over early enough to not keep children out on a school night.
