Sea Bright Celebrates

Sea Bright: Hundreds of people gathered at the public beach in Sea Bright on Sunday to celebrate.  Just 10 months ago the Jersey Shore was hit hard by Superstorm Sandy and with it went a chunk of Sea Bright.

Sea Bright business owners have been working hard to reopen their shops and restaurants to the public and celebrated by the sponsoring the FREE concert.  Bruce Springsteen's tribute band, the B Street Band headlined the concert, while the Cat London Band out of Oceanport warmed up the crowd.

Inflated beach balls bounced through the crowd under gray skies that looked like they might open up at any minute.  During the break between bands, a free raffle for bicycles, beach gear and gift certificates was held.  The raffle was sponsored by local businesses including Chapel Beach Club, Woody's, J.F. Kiely and Shrewsbury Bicycle to name just a few.
