Sea Bright Rising: "BIG BEACH BASH"

Long Branch:  Sea Bright Rising held the “Big Beach Bash,” a sold-out fundraiser at the Ocean Palace Resort in Long Branch.   Guests were treated to an open table gathering where people from all parts of the Jersey Shore came to meet, greet, and support the efforts of the Sea Bright Community and show support for their rebuilding efforts.

Local businesses affected by Hurricane Sandy were present to talk about the experience and to show the progress they have made since the waters ravaged their community.

Vendors from all surrounding counties supplied the party goers with: wine, cheese, chocolate, shellfish, cupcakes, cakes, craft beer, and hotdogs.  There was no shortage of good food at this party.

Midway through the night the live band cranked up the action and couples began dancing to sounds of the 60’s and 70’s.

Both the Ballroom and the entrance were becoming crowded and everyone in attendance looked to be having a good time.

There was a live 50/50 raffle held around 9:00pm, which contestants bid on: dinner at the Salt Creek Grille, a trip to NBC  “Law  & Order,” a Navesink Paddle Excursion, Train (the band) meet and greet, Lobster Bake at Donovan’s Reef, and a One Week trip to Rincon, Puerto Rico.

Sea Bright Rising also had many sponsors, which made this night possible.  For a full list of sponsors, please visit: http://www.seabrightrising.org/beach-bash.html

Prior to this event, Sea Bright Rising has raised over $300,000 and was supporting up to 10 families; however, they are still taking new applications for affected residents.
