Sea Brights Driftwood Cabana Club To Add Spray Park For Summer

The following is a press release from a public relations agency representing Driftwood Cabana Club:

When the 2015 beach season kicks off on Memorial Day weekend, Driftwood Cabana Club - the southernmost located private beach club in Sea Bright - will be the first Jersey Shore beach club to offer a new, state-of-the-art SprayPark, complete with interactive equipment that squirts, sprays and shoots water inside a new zero-depth wading pool.
The custom-designed, 2,200-square-foot SprayPark will also feature a boat-themed slide, sea creatures that mist, a dolphin that squirts water and in-ground elements that resemble geysers. And in the area surrounding the SprayPark, Driftwood is installing new concrete surfacing, a new lounge chair area and additional tables with umbrellas for poolside dining.
The Stavola Family, owners of Driftwood Cabana Club since it opened in 1957, have undertaken the extensive renovation during the off-season so that the new, marine-themed SprayPark will be ready for members opening day. In keeping with the club's philosophy of "Family First", the new SprayPark will provide a new play environment for members of all ages.
"We are always looking for opportunities to improve the summer experience for our members," the Stavola family said in a statement. "We think this new addition of a SprayPark at Driftwood will produce many wonderful summer memories for our member families and friends."
The SprayPark has been designed by the Eatontown office of Partner Engineering and Science, Inc., a national engineering, environmental and energy consulting firm.
"Partner is excited to be working with the Driftwood Cabana Club to create a safe, unique water play environment that is interactive and fun for all ages," said Adam Alexander, a landscape architect at Partner.
The SprayPark is the latest in a series of major improvements at Driftwood, which include a fully-enclosed and heated beachfront Tiki Bar, which is open to the public in the off-season; new, large cabanas overlooking the ocean, and an all-new fitness center. Driftwood is also the home of Ama Ristorante, which opened in September 2012 and has quickly become one of the most popular Italian restaurants at the Shore.
