Second Long Branch Railroad Crossing To Be Upgraded

The Brighton Avenue railroad crossing was completed last week. This weekend, the Bath Avenue crossing will be upgraded.

After completing work on the Brighton Avenue railroad crossing, another one of the city's major railroad crossroads will be upgraded.

Bath Avenue will closed with a detour at the crossing on Saturday, April 8 at 7 a.m. through Saturday, April 15 at 7 p.m., according to the Long Branch Police Department.

The railroad crossing will be removed and a new concrete crossing will be installed, with new asphalt approaches.

Traffic will be detoured onto Westwood and 3rd Avenues.
