Several New Pier Village Businesses Now Open

Five new businesses have opened in Pier Village this summer.

One new addition is The Peddler of Pier Village, located on Laird Street in the former home of Village Spa. The Peddler sells and rents bicycles and now has its second location in Long Branch, with the other located at 150 Ocean Blvd.

Red Orange has reopened as Wild Bamboo and is located between the Corner Cafe and Gold's Gym. Wild Bamboo serves a variety of different Asian cuisine including Chinese and Thai food.

Shaka, located on Centennial Drive, has been replaced by Nino's Ribeye Sandwiches. The owner of Nino's Coal-Fired Pizza opened this location earlier this summer but the focus is now on sandwiches.

Beachy Keen, a convenience store and mini mart which sells shore-related products has opened on Chelsea Avenue, around the corner from Stewart's.

Manny's Pizza Subs and Salads is now open and has replaced Michaelangelo's which closed nearly two months ago. The restaurant also feature fresh bagels from Dough Mama Bagels.

This is the first summer Pier Village has been under the ownership of Kushner Companies and partner Extell Development.
