Shore Players: GRANDMA'S GETTING MARRIED

West Long Branch:  The Shore Players fall hit is the Grandma’s Getting Marred fun- a- thon at SRHS, a fast paced comedy still running as you read this review.

The plot: Widow’s children send Grandma on a cruise to maybe add some love spice to her life. They get a telegram from aboard the ship that she met someone. It is serious – AND it is a British rock star. {{more}}

The children become concerned about Grandma's new man’s intentions and reputation. Things go downhill as the theme goes uphill in the laughter category.  (Wait until you get a look at the lover boy.)

This slapstick side splitter is well worth the trip. The Dennis Driskill original is directed by Todd Aikens and Produced by Randee Skloff. They had the help of school staffers and volunteers from the community to make the show a success.

Next showings are Nov. 18-20; 8 p.m. for the 18th-19th, and 2 p.m. matinee on the 29th.  Today, Nov. 13th has a 2 p.m. matinee also.
