Shore Regional recognizes academic performances

Board Recognizes Jaimie Egan and Raymond Munoz

West Long Branch: The Shore Regional Board of Education recognized Jaimie Egan as a Commended Student in the 2012 National Merit Scholarship Program. Commended Students are recognized for exceptional academic promise demonstrated by their outstanding performance on the qualifying test used for program entry.

Also, the Board also recognized Raymond Munoz for his selection as 2011-2012 National Hispanic Recognition Program (NHRP) Scholars. The NHRP was initiated in 1983 to identify outstanding Hispanic high school students. This year the NHRP is recognizing nationwide nearly 5,000 students selected from a group of over 235,000.
