Shots Fired: Man Charged With Attempted Murder Of Boss

LONG BRANCH: A Long Branch man has been charged with criminal attempt at murder and other offenses after allegedly shooting at his boss with a .22-caliber rifle, police said.

Long Branch Police have arrested Moises Espinoza-Sanchez, 41, who allegedly shot out the driver's side window of a car parked on Liberty Street Saturday afternoon, said Lt. Frank Morey of the Long Branch Police Department.

Espinoza-Sanchez was allegedly firing at his boss from a landscaping company who was inside the car. The target was not hit, police said.

Morey said the worker and his boss had an ongoing dispute over the last couple of years.

Espinoza-Sanchez was charged with criminal attempt at murder, possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, criminal mischief and obstruction.

He was being held at the Monmouth County Correctional Institution of $854,000 bail.
