Storm Could Dump Up To 14 Inches of Snow on County

The latest forecast from the National Weather Service is looking pretty severe as more than foot of snow could fall on Monmouth County from the night of Monday, Jan. 26-Tuesday, Jan. 27.

The service's forecast map calls for 10-14 inches of snow in Monmouth County in the next two days with the "potential for more than indicated on the map."

"Please be prepared to alter plans and monitor future forecasts issued late today for any changes," a Facebook post by the National Weather Service states.

This obviously could impact local schools and services, so we'll keep you posted on those as well.

Stay tuned for Word on the Shore for the latest forecast.
