The Supreme Court Sings Blues at West End Park

LONG BRANCH: Big Nancy, a big voiced lovely lady full of blues and other musical genre brought the Supreme Court to the bandshell in West End Park on Sunday, July 12 where she serenaded a park full guests on lawn blankets, folding chairs and just the green turf itself.

It was Blues by the Beach, a part of the Long Branch Summer Concert Series brought to all by the city's Urban Enterprise Group and the Jersey Jazz and Blues Association.

"We're loving them," said a regular Sunday visitor as she enjoyed a sidewalk table snack with friends.

The restaurants along Brighton Avenue were doing a brisk business, including the ice cream vendors on a warm evening.
