WEST LONG BRANCH: A borough holiday tradition will continue at a new location this weekend.
The annual West Long Branch Christmas Sing-A-Long will be held at Franklin Lake on Sunday, Dec. 17 from 5-7 p.m.
The event has been held at Woolley Park at the corner of Monmouth Road, Cedar Avenue and Locust Road for over 80 years, but safety concerns at the site raised by a group of residents persuaded the West Long Branch Council to make the change.
Residents can now park at Shore Regional and walk around the lake to the gazebo area where the sing will be held this season. They will then join together in the singing of several holiday classics.
There will be guest appearances by Santa Claus and his helpers and event-goers should bring their cameras so they can take pictures with him.
